This is from Keith Thomas, Jen's father-in-law:

When we first met Jen we thought she was the bravest lady because she unfearingly caught a cab to her apartment--all by herself--in New York City.

Going to an art museum without Jen is practically a waste of time. Her knowledge of art opens and gives incredible new meaning and depth to art and what it represents. She made our visit to a Boston museum a great treat.

"By their fruits shall ye know them" Jen and Mike's kids are as enriched as any children can be. What a great Mom.

Jen gets around Boston like a native--never lets anyone ace her out when she chauffeurs us. Great aggressive driver.

Faye's favorite mental picture is seeing Jen sitting on the living room floor with a twin on either side of her, talking to and playing with them.

We appreciate what a great support Jen has been in Michael's quest for education.

Alicyn and Angie want to add that Jen is a good wife to Mike and a good sister-in-law, who is a beautiful, bright lady who they like to hang out with

Happy Birthday Jen!

You are a great example and friend. My life has been enriched because of your friendship and support.

Thanks for introducing me to Talbots and for sharing and encouraging my love for shopping. My favorite shopping memory is going to the mall with you in Boston. You are a fun shopping partner with an eye for great deals!

Thanks for taking good care of me when I came to visit. I appreciate your willingness to help me obtain the best medical care and options during my stay. I especially enjoyed the chance to visit and get to know you better.

Thanks for providing me with many delicious recipes. My cooking has advanced past the ward cookbook thanks to your expertise. Chris and Ben will only eat "Jen's meatloaf and Jen's waffles."

Thanks for all of the love and effort you put into redecorating my bedroom. You perceived my need for a change when I was confined to bed and made everything so nice and pleasant.

Thanks for helping me create the best art school assemblies. Everyone was amazed by your vast knowledge and expertise. I couldn't have done the job without all of your help and great ideas. Thanks for spending late nights with me on the phone to make everything a success.

I've enjoyed having you as my sister-in-law. You have opened my world to so many new things and I appreciate your kindness and support. Thanks for including Chris and Ben in your many family activities and for making us a part of your family.

Happy Birthday!

Love,
Anne

Happy Birthday Jen!
Hope your day is fun.
We've had some wild family vacations and the memories will linger long after the kids are grown. We have laughed and snickered through most of them. I have distinct memories of losing Will getting lost in the New England Aquarium (fine babywatchers we were!). And, most recently, i share a memory of shopping late night in Orlando with half the population of mid-Florida. You have always been one for efficiency and when you organized us to patrol in different areas of the store for our needed commodities, I knew I was in the presence of brilliance.

Thanks for your friendship.
